This is a bar of cold process soap. It has a net weight of 4.5 oz. It has a very nice lather. If kept dry between uses it has a very nice shelf life. Sicilian bergamot and orange zest brighten the richness of ripe fig and green tea, while a dash of black pepper adds an unexpected edge. In the heart, black tea and bayberry swirl with red rose, freesia, and soft peony petals—floral, earthy, and slightly spiced. The drydown is warm and grounding, where musk, vanilla, ambergris, and patchouli melt into smooth cedarwood and blond woods. Lush, layered, and unmistakably bold like velvet smoke on a cool evening.
